Honeycomb stencil for spotlight technique on the Michael Strong Group

This is Michael Strong's Busy Bee stampset
and it comes with a honeycomb stencil.
So for this month's spotlight technique
on the Michael Strong Stampgroup I thought
it would be fun to use this stencil as the
spotlight technique.

If you don't have the stampset,
it is ok to use any honeycomb stencil
in combination with a Michael Strong stamp.
The most right one is the one from Michael Strong.
Here are some ideas of how to use the stencil:
1. take 3 colors of (distress) ink
and color at random over the stencil

and spray some wother for extra interest.

2. use texture past to make the honecombs
(you do not have to cover the complete
stencil)

and color whenb the paste is dry.

3. Use spray ink.

Here you see the 3 different backgrounds.

Today I share with you the finished
card from the spray ink background.

I added some of the bees to the background,
making it look like a beehive, The sentiment
is from my stash (not knowing the brand).

Hope i have given you some ideas and look
forward to your cards on the yahoogroup
or on our facebookgroup.

If you want to play and do not have
a honeycomb stencil, you can cut one
yourself using this:
Save this image to your own computer.
print and cut.

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!
