SSS Easter challenge

With Easter soon ofcourse there are lts of Easter
challenges around. Even though i do not celebrate Easter, I celebrate Passover,
my friends do and it is so nice to use the bunny stamp.
My card is for the Simon Says Stamp Blog.

I started out with the mini bunny blueprint stamp by
Tim Holtz. It is stamped in versamark and embossed
with white embossing powder. Next I used lucky clover
green oxide ink to color the panel. The white embossing
powder works as a resist.

For the background I stamped the mini blueprint
easter egg from the sam Tim Holtz set all
over the paper in black.

Then I took a few colors of oxide distress ink and
colored the paper with the matching blending tools.

A little extra coloring on the eggs mith distress markers.
Now it is time to assembele everything and make it into a card.

I used some left over colored filter paper for these
punched out flowers (from the spring tag).

The sentiment stamp is from the crazy talk sentiment
stamp set from Tim Holtz.
The ribbon is one of the handied ribbons by Diana Larson.

SSS Spring challenge

Even though it is bitterly cold here in The Netherlands
this weekend, I know Spring is around the corner and
crafting and thinking about it keeps me warm.

I made this tag for the Monday Challenge
where the challenge is Spring/ Easter inspiration.

The background is a tag don in the direct to paper technique
with a variety of green and fosselized amber oxide
distress inks. The bird is a big die cut by Tim Holtz
and the flower is made out of a coffee filter.
I sprayed the filter with fosselized amber distress spray
and cut the flowers with a punch. Inside I added a stem and
glued all the layers together. The stem end went through
the tag and taped to the back of the tag.

The background rays ar made with a stamp
and fosselized oxide ink.
Yhe birds nest is another stamp. First I stamped it
on the tag and next on a piece of white paper.
Then colored the nest with a brown distress marker
and cut out the nest and added it with foam tape to the tag.
The words are from Tm Holtz ideology small talk stickers.

Green for CAS(E) this Sketch #262

Here my card for the sketch on

the CAS(E) this sketch blog here.

I started  with making the background with these
3 colors of oxide ink with the direct to paper technique.
The left over ink I used to color a ribbon, I will use
this week for another card.

Then I used some drops of water
and a stencil with evergreen bough
distress ink.

The backgroun now looks like this.

The clover is made with  a heart die from the serie
movers and shapers, distressed and after wrapping the
Tim Holtz stripes a paper string around the card,
glued on top of the string.
The sentiments are new quote chips by Tim Holtz.

Club Scrap March kit: Daffodils

A new month, a new Club Scrap kit.
This month the kit is called: Daffodils.
I love bulbs and this time of the year I always
buy little pots of these for inside and plant them later
in the garden in Autumn, so I have more and more bulbs
every year. They make it feel like Spring is on the way.

My scrap page is made with photoshop. As you can read from the
journaling, iIam still not well. I had the flue for a long time,
I thought I was better and now I have this throat infection.
Outside it is very cold and and inside it is nice and warm,
sipping my tea with honey to get better soon!

You find the Club Scrap Daffodils hybrid kit HERE
for only $ 4,95!

All these images come with the hybrit kit.
Great for cards and scrapbooking.
Even if you are not handy with programs like
photoshop, you can print, color and cut all the
images and make uo your own cards.
